On 2026, 6 25, Wang Si, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Bureau of Daye Lake High-tech Zone, and Lu Yaping, a representative of Optics Valley East State-owned Investment Group, visited the Tongshan (Wuhan) Offshore Science and Technology Innovation Center. As Tongshan County's off-site innovation platform established in Wuhan, this visit by delegations from sister counties and cities further highlights the strong momentum of regional collaborative development.

The delegation first toured the overall layout of the Tongshan (Wuhan) Offshore Innovation and Technology Center. Yang Mingyu, General Manager of the center's operations team, provided a detailed overview of its founding background, operational model, and key achievements to date. As a critical gateway for Tongshan County's integration into the Guanggu Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, the center leverages Wuhan's rich educational resources and industrial ecosystem to establish a collaborative innovation mechanism: "R&D in Wuhan, commercialization in Tongshan." Since operations began, the center has successfully attracted multiple technology companies across priority sectors including smart manufacturing, new energy, and information technology, laying the foundation for an offshore incubation system tailored to Tongshan's unique strengths.

The delegation expressed strong interest in the center's "offshore talent attraction and local conversion" operating model. They held in-depth discussions on key areas including enterprise selection criteria, incubation service chain development, and alignment with Tongshan's local industries, and fully affirmed the operational achievements of the Tongshan Offshore Innovation Center.

This visit serves as both an assessment of the Tongshan (Wuhan) Offshore Innovation Center's operational achievements and a demonstration of collaborative progress and shared development among county-level units within the Wuhan Metropolitan Area.

Next, Tongshan (Wuhan) Offshore Innovation Center will continue to leverage its role as a gateway platform. Embracing openness and shared growth, we will collaborate with partners to explore innovative pathways for integrating county economies into metropolitan circles and innovation corridors, injecting greater momentum into high-quality regional development.
